(I, you, he/she/it, we, they)

I/You/He/She/We/They/It

Subject pronouns are words we use instead of a person or thing's name when we talk about them. "I" is used when talking about oneself, "you" is used when talking directly to someone, "he/she/it" is used when talking about someone or something else, "we" is used when talking about a group that includes oneself, and "they" is used when talking about a group that doesn't include oneself.

For example,

"I am happy"

or

"They went to the park."
